DIY Jewelry Display

Here is another semi vintage item! I spent $15 on this bad boy at VOA.
Originally its a desk for a small office or personal space, but i chose to transform it into a jewelry display!
I thought it would be easier to organize my necklaces and other jewelry this way so i went out hunting for a desk and found the perfect one, at the thrift store woowhoo!

I strongly suggest this idea if you are a lady with alot of jewelry!

DIY Wine Glass Candle Holders

 Source: Pinterest
Above: My version of the candle holders

One of my friends on Instagram posted a photo of a very creative candle holder, when I saw it I said "that looks easy & pretty!" So i went out to a local arts & craft store to get the items i needed (my finish product is above) I have also posted a couple I found on pinterest just to give you an idea of other ways to make these...

Items you will need:

Wine glasses (any shape/sizes)
Candles (any size)
Small rocks/pebbles, flowers, shells etc...what ever theme you would like to go with!
A folder or anything flat

For my theme I picked up some earth tone color rocks from Joann's Fabric and small pine cone's

Basically I filled up the wine glass with the stones (placing the pine cones in first) then using a folder, I placed it on top of the glass..flipped it upside down, placing it on my table then removing the folder from under the glass slowly. Finally i placed my small candles at the base of the wine glass, and TADA! three different size glass candle holders!

I hope i made that easy/ clear enough for you guys to understand how i did it

Have fun, be creative with your theme!

Vintage Love

Me at Tie Me Down, A Stylist Lane finale fashion show in Rochester,NY

Once again, you dont have to spend tons of money to look nice!

I Found this really nice vintage top at my favorite thrift store, AMVETS. The Chanel inspired purse was also a thrift store piece. I chose to sport the one of a kind top with a faux fur vest from Wet Seal, i think it was about $26, Basic black leggins from Walmart and nude point toe pumps from Forever21 ($12).

Counting down

Only a couple weeks away until I get to see this pretty girl! My favorite girl from NYC, everyone i want you to meet Lola <3

The KTR collection

Below: KTR Kow skirt

I was surfing the web one day and came across this Fashionista blog that belongs to the talented KT Reed. She has her own skirt line as stated above (KTR Collection). To some people her skirts may be on the pricey side but from what I see, the quality looks great and the designs are phenomenal!

You can purchase your own skirt from the KTR Collection simply by clicking the link below and going to the "shop KTR Collection" tab at the top

For the love of flowers

People always tell me I have a nice sense of style. They ask where I shop, I tell them usually Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, Arden B and believe it or not local thrift stores! This whole outfit was under $30!! Sometimes you don't have to spend tons of money to look/feel good.

PS. This is actually a full length skirt, all i did was fold it at the waist & used safety pins to secure it, then adding the belt for a nice finishing touch.

Top: AM VETS thrift store - $2
Belt: Wet Seal - $6
Skirt: VOA - $5
Sandals: Target $10
